We'll need a shaman with a fully tomed HS using full tilly with defense foci, and GS weapons, and I don't know if we have one of those. How ever, a fully tomed Fal with the same gear is quite effective also. As for whether I can join you, that depends on when it is, I'm not able to stay up later at night right now, so if you can give a time, I can let you know whether I can bring out King Minos to help take him down.

I'm a tri shammy, with the most important buffs maxed.

My HS is almost fully tomed. I'm looking for ONE MORE tome (anything 7+) to max him.
He has tilly and GS as well, but the tilly only has basic tank stats, not defense.

If you guys don't have a better option, then I would be happy to help.

I would also welcome any help with those two above-mentioned particulars. lol

Those defense foci will be best farmed by a high level wizard lol. Fire off a spell to attract something in the EW, gather a large crowd together, use one massive AoE to wipe them all out, then go through the loot. Otherwise it's a very slow process getting those defense foci.

The main reason for those foci is because keeping the HS alive is difficult, the fewer heals you can do, the better. Those defense foci not only ensure the HS is hit less often, but also reduce damage dealt to the HS. Also, if you have to heal the HS too early, or too often, chances are Thug is going to switch from attacking the HS to attacking one of the healers. The healers won't last long being attacked by Thug, and he can quite frequently 1-hit players (or maybe 2-hit when you consider the dual wield ability Wink).

A Shaman is also important for the disease resists. The Thugoth AoE can be lethal, so those resist are very important (more so for the player than the HS, as the HS will survive it, then get healed). At least 2 Shamans are necessary for a Thug raid so that one shaman can use the Talisman on the tanking HS. The Shaman who's HS is tanking Thug could potentially be replaced with a Fal pet. In my experience they have shown to take a lot less damage than HS's do. This is because of being a Monk, and as a result having much higher defense. But it hasn't been done with a Fal before, though I'm confident it's possible.

One more note, some one needs to use a pet to distract Thugoth long enough to disarm him, then get out of the area quickly. Alternatively, a monster could do it, assuming said monster can escape very quickly after the disarm.
